I provide editorial feedback for college essay applications, short story drafts, essays, and entire manuscripts. I will take a closer look at your writing and provide notes on things like word choice, grammar, sentence structure, the overall integrity of a paragraph, transitions between paragraphs, etc. If requested, I also provide line-by-line edits.
I also work with companies who are looking for a short-term or long-term writing contractor. I can help your company write everything from statements to press releases.

This is meant to be a more personal approach to your writing. Do you have a specific goal in mind that you'd like to work towards? Do you want to develop or better a certain skill? Are you applying to colleges and have multiple essays you'd like me to read? Are you applying to MFA programs in creative writing? Are you working on a larger body of work like a collection of short stories or a novel? Do you want to write stories, but don't know where to start?
You will work with me one-on-one, including Zoom sessions if needed, and we will create a tailored-plan according to your needs. I have previously worked with college students wanting to learn more about writing successful essays, writers who have wanted to better a certain technique in their writing such as dialogue-work or developing voice, and people who have needed consultations on their books.
I also work with kids in middle school and high school to help with their academic writing and creative writing skills. If you’re a parent looking for some writing tutoring, please contact me. Some of the awards my students have won include The Gold Key Award for a Short Story and multiple “honorable mentions” with Scholastic Awards, The Grand Jury Award for a Screenplay at the Oniros Film Festival and awards for screenplays from The Blue Bird Film Festival.
